An Eastern Pennsylvania developer wants to build a 3.7 million-square-foot data center campus ([link removed]) and natural gas plant in rural Elizabeth Township at a former landfill site, according to email records between the developer and municipal officials.
Public Source obtained the emails through a right-to-know request.
The township is hosting a town hall meeting Oct. 13 to discuss the data center. The planned data center and power plant would be larger ([link removed]) than a planned campus in Springdale Borough that has drawn local opposition.
