I’m not here to plead for a donation, or to tell you the sky will fall if we don’t raise a certain amount of money from this exact email.

I am here, though, to be crystal clear about where we stand in this Senate race. This is a grassroots campaign, you are part of our team and you deserve to know exactly where we are: At our current fundraising pace, things aren’t where we need them to be.

We urgently need additional resources to fight back. Even worse, the last FEC deadline of this election is right around the corner. It’s the last chance we have to publicly show the power of this grassroots campaign.

If we continue to fall behind, we’ll be putting our chances of flipping this seat at serious risk, and with the future of our democracy at stake, we simply cannot let that happen.
