| John, In addition to my Democrat opponent's record-setting fundraising hauls – $10.6 million in August alone, I am also getting blasted by ads from out-of-state attack groups. "Lindsey Must Go," a DC-based, liberal Super PAC launched expressly to defeat me, was launching dishonest attacks against me on South Carolina beaches this Labor Day. The Super PAC was "flying a plane up and down the South Carolina coast" – towing a banner attacking me – as "part of a six-figure advertising buy during the next two weeks..." This will not be the last we see of them. "Lindsey Must Go" has already planned to raise millions more to spend against me this year. John, these next two weeks are going to be huge for our campaign, and I need your immediate help to push back. The Democrats and their allies are outraising us and have half as many U.S. Senate seats to defend. They only need to win four more races in November to take control of the Senate. There's no one the radical Left would like to take down more than me. Ever since I stood up to defend Justice Brett Kavanaugh two years ago, I've become the Democrats' top 2020 Senate target. They hate my conservative record and my strong support of President Donald Trump. With the intense pressure from Democrat donors across the country and Super PACs that have been formed with the express purpose of defeating me, I am counting on grassroots conservatives like you to counter the avalanche of left-wing money.
