Dear friend,

Chemicals linked to cancer, nervous system harm, and immune system harm may be lurking in your pantry. The Food and Drug Administration doesn’t consider the latest science on health harms caused by food additives in processed foods. As a result, chemicals not allowed in the EU are commonly found in food in the U.S.

But EWG’s NEW Guide to Food Additives is here to help you avoid the worst offenders, including a carcinogenic flour additive and synthetic dyes linked to attention deficit disorders. Plus, our guide highlights harmful chemicals used in food packaging, which can migrate into food.
