Will you help us rescue abandoned animals?

Dear Friend,

Hurricane Dorian is churning up the East Coast, threatening to slam much of North Carolina and coastal Virginia with high winds, torrential rainfall, and dangerous flooding. PETA has been urging animal guardians in the storm's path to take every family member with them as they evacuate, but despite these many warnings, dogs, cats, and other animals will still be left behind to survive this terrifying hurricane alone.

For some—particularly dogs kept crated, penned, or tethered in backyards—this could be a death sentence.

Right now, PETA's experienced rescuers are in crisis mode as they prepare to trudge through floodwater to find and save abandoned animals and assist with local relief efforts, should tragedy strike.

Our team is mobilizing to make sure that no animal is left behind or forgotten, and we need you there with us.

PETA's quick response to massive disasters like last year's Hurricane Florence has meant the difference between life and death for many animals. Now, we need your help to put our critical rescue experience to work once again. Together, we can ensure that more animals are moved out of harm's way and help those who end up in dire straits.

For animals in Hurricane Dorian's path, there's no time to wait!
