Louis DeJoy, Donald Trump’s postmaster, has disrupted mail delivery all across the country.

Read my earlier update — copied below in case you missed it — about the latest development in our lawsuit to stop DeJoy.

Please take a minute to read through this update.

Here’s what’s going on:

Public Citizen and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund filed a lawsuit in federal court last month, on behalf of the NAACP, to stop Louis DeJoy — the Republican mega-donor Donald Trump installed to run (or ruin) the United States Postal Service — from disrupting the operations of the Post Office.

But DeJoy has pushed through service changes that have upended mail delivery all across the country, so we are now asking the court to step in and order DeJoy to suspend his new policy and restore service to what it was before his arbitrary and illegal changes.

A little more background:
DeJoy must be ordered to immediately suspend his disruptive instructions and restore service so that Americans can fully rely on the Post Office.

Or, if you can, join our popular Monthly Giving program to help provide the ongoing financial resources it takes to keep fighting.

Thanks for being part of this shared project called Public Citizen.

In unity,

- Robert Weissman, President of Public Citizen
