Dear Reader,
Could there be a “GPS” to the markets?
Edward Thorp believes so.
Wait a minute – who is he?!
Mr. Thorp is a legendary mathematician who amassed a fortune estimated at around $800 million through quantitative trading.
His secret was using artificial intelligence to “predict what would happen” in the markets.
“A model is a simplified version of reality, like a street map that shows you how to travel from one part of the city to another. If you got them right, [you] could then use the rules to predict what would happen in new situations,” said Ed Thorp.
Artificial intelligence is arguably smarter than humans in certain domains.
After all, they can scan through millions of data points, detect patterns, and execute savvy trades… in just minutes.
This is also the secret behind Renaissance Technologies’ unusual performance of 66% annual returns for more than two decades.
However, retail traders lack access to AI technologies like hedge funds.
As a result, they are getting fleeced by trading wizards on Wall Street.
But here’s the good news.
You can get a taste of using A.I. technology to find the top momentum trades.
TradeAlgo has a new technology called “dark pool A.I.”
The A.I. scans through secret exchanges called “dark pools”, and it allows traders to see where Smart Money is buying and selling.
This may boost traders’ odds of getting into trades just before major price movements.
