MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has used one of the president’s favorite TV channels against him, pointing out that Fox News’s own national security correspondent confirmed reports that Donald Trump called fallen American servicemembers “suckers” and “losers.”
After sharing a long list of other outlets that also confirmed the story, Maddow concluded that Donald Trump “finds U.S. servicemembers to be stupid for serving, ‘losers,’ ‘suckers,’ they deserve what they get, they don’t deserve to be thought of as heroes, they don’t even deserve to be looked for when they’ve been captured...he finds them and their injuries disgusting.”
We find Donald Trump disgusting. So does our military -- with new survey data from the Military Times showing that active duty troops now prefer Biden to Trump. But a recent Rasmussen Reports poll shows that half of all Americans approve of the job Trump is doing as president.
