Children's Residential Social Care Worker - Disabled Children *Starting salary is 20,661 rising to 21,962 on first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period.* *Please ensure you read our Terms and Conditions Information which includes advice on pay, annual leave and hours of working.

* A Children's home supporting 4 young people aged 10 years to 19 yearswho arein long term carerequires a Children's Residential Social Care Worker. The role requires an ability to:Togive essential and personal care tochildren and young people with autism and learning or physical disabilities.To establish positive relationships with the young people, assessing needs and risk. Working jointly in preparation, implementation, delivery and revision of care plans.To ensure that the physical, emotional, religious, educational and psychological needs of children and young people accommodated within the home are met.To support young people to meet their transitional needs when moving in and out of the home.To support young peoplewith their medical andall round health needs. This includes administration of medication.To ensure a high standard of supervision and support is provided to assist children and young people in combating the disabling effect of Autism and learning disabilities.To facilitate access to appropriate life opportunities to children and young people with Autism and learning/physical disabilities that promotes the growth of the individual and inclusion.
