North Carolina is key to electing the Biden-Harris ticket and progressive candidates up and down the ballot. Republicans in the legislature have been blocking Democratic Governor Roy Cooper at every turn, undermining his efforts to support North Carolinians. This is the same Republican legislature that has been doing everything possible to suppress the Black vote with “surgical precision,” according to a voting rights decision from the 4th U.S. District Court of Appeals.

That’s why I’m excited to announce that this Wednesday, September 16 at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, my partner Kat Taylor and I will be a part of “ *Help Flip North Carolina Blue + End Voter Suppression* ,” a virtual event benefiting 12 Democratic candidates throughout North Carolina.
