CNN is reporting that a growing number of House Republicans privately believe they're going to lose the House.
Their own internal polling shows Trump's approval sinking, and they're nervous about seats he carried by double digits. Decision Desk HQ now gives Democrats a 75% chance of winning the majority.
That is very good news. But the same CNN story has a second half, though, and it's the half we keep rereading.
Republicans are outspending Democrats on advertising in every one of the 10 most expensive House races between now and Election Day. Speaker Mike Johnson's team says he hasn't taken a single seat off his board. A party that had actually given up would be saving its money.
A 75% chance for us also leaves them about one in four, roughly the odds of flipping a coin twice and getting heads both times. Try it and see how quickly it happens.
GOTV PAC is spending this last month reaching voters in targeted House districts who rarely hear from anyone, because those are the people a wall of TV ads is meant to reach first.
Can you give $35 today so Republican money isn't the only thing those voters hear?
Thank you,
GOTV PAC
