Folks,

Where I come from, nobody wins a potluck by bringing the whole meal.

One family brings the fried chicken. Somebody brings the deviled eggs. Your
aunt brings the same green bean casserole she's brought since 1994. And
somehow, everybody leaves full.

That's how I'd like to defend the Senate Majority.

night. And every one of them is up against the same problem: the other side is
catering the whole affair.

Their donors don't bring a dish. They hire the caterer, rent the tent, and
send the bill to somebody in Manhattan.

We don't do it that way.

We do it the potluck way. Nobody brings everything. Everybody brings
something.
