We came up short, but there’s still time to make up the difference.
Hi John, it’s Katie. I have some good news and bad news.
I’ll start with the bad: I hate to say this, but unfortunately we came up short of our $1 million end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
The good news is that it wasn’t a drastic difference, so with enough people like you chipping in $5, $10, $25, or whatever you can afford right now, we could quickly close the gap.
Missing this goal could mean we have to make last-minute budget cuts, and in a race as close and important as this one, that’s a really difficult decision.
In 2022, I won by less than 1 percent of the vote, and polls show this November’s race could be just as close.
So John, instead of figuring out whether we have to reduce our ad reservations or do less door-knocking, let’s come together and make up the difference before it’s too late!
