I’ve been thinking a lot about Texas.

Democrats haven’t won statewide in Texas in decades, but Gina Hinojosa’s campaign for Governor is going to change that this year.

Gina’s running against an incumbent which is never easy, but a recent poll has her in the lead for the first time.

We can win in Texas. And Gina is running the kind of campaign that can do it. I truly believe that.

But now that Gina’s shown she can win, the GOP is coming after her hard.

She is being pummeled every single day by attack ads on TV and online. It’s getting impossible to turn on the tv or check the news in Texas without seeing a MAGA-funded attack ad.

She’s being outspent ten-to-one, and she’s still gaining ground in the polls. But her opponent has raised more than $100 million, and he is ready to try to buy his lead back in the final weeks.

To fight back and WIN in November, Gina is counting on us — people who understand the opportunity we have to win in Texas, and who decide chipping in $5 or $10 is worth it.

And while I don’t expect you to chip in every time I ask for your support, if you can I hope you’ll give $3 to support Gina’s campaign in Texas. She can win! But she can’t do it alone.
