We’re halfway through the month -- which means that we should be halfway to our end of quarter fundraising goal. But our finance team just ran the numbers, and we’re pacing 9% behind where we should be at this point in September.

John​​​​​​​ , we’re worried.

We already know that the Republicans’ flagship super PAC, the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), booked $3 million in the Los Angeles media market in an attempt to reverse last cycle’s Democratic wins and flip key House seats red. And recent polling shows that Gil is neck-and-neck with his opponent.

In a race like ours, every decision we make and every dollar we raise ahead of the start of early voting (in 18 days!) has an outsized impact. So John, we’re asking you today to contribute $15 or whatever you can to help fortify our advantage in this race and keep California’s 39th blue.
