By now, you probably know that the organizing we do goes beyond just primary challenges and elections. We organize to make sure that our communities no longer suffer through poverty. We organize to uplift each other and to accomplish as much as we can with our collective and concerted energy and focus.

Doing this work is already challenging as is, but COVID-19 has made it even more so — and over the past six months, we've had to rely on expensive digital tools and socially distanced in-person tactics to reach our goals more than we initially anticipated.

We ran the numbers during our mid-month budget assessment, and we need a surge of grassroots donations to stay on track for the month — and more importantly, leading up to the end-of-quarter FEC filing deadline on September 30. Can we count on you to chip in before our mid-month deadline tomorrow night?

Our organizing helped triple turnout for our district in the primary — and we've continued to put our expertise to use to produce results for our district. We've hosted virtual town halls, trained volunteers on voter registration, held phone banks and tabling events around the census, and raised thousands of dollars for fellow progressives to expand our coalition.

We have even bigger plans as we approach the general election — but we can't keep it going without you, John. Please chip in whatever you can before our mid-month deadline tomorrow night.
