Last week was a huge week for our campaign. We were profiled in The New York Times, which called our race “increasingly competitive in recent weeks” and “within striking distance” of Don Young.

But that’s not all. Last week, Politico increased our odds of winning this race in their House elections ratings, which is the fourth upgrade we’ve received from respected, independent experts. Downgrading Don Young’s odds of winning after 47-years in Washington is a big deal. 

More importantly, I am hearing from Alaskans every day who are getting engaged in new ways to drive us to a win. I heard from someone today from Cordova arranging signs to get placed throughout the community. And then, I heard from someone in Sitka sharing she wrote a letter to the editor expressing how critical this race is for Alaskans to have a new voice in the House. Every action, combined with spreading the word to voters, adds up to victory.

Yesterday my team emailed you about our mid-month deadline, and you made great progress getting us closer to our $15,000 mid-month goal! There are just 24 days left until ballots hit mailboxes and folks start voting. We’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and we can’t start missing goals now. Will you rush in a contribution before our midnight deadline?
