Folks,

Raising money before a major fundraising deadline is a lot like preparing for a must-pass exam. You know, the one that will decide whether you graduate or not.

I'm sure you heard it all the time in school -- it's never a good idea to try and cram all your studying the night before a big test.

Likewise, there's no time for procrastinating when you're a top target for Republicans in 2020.

Our critical FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is rapidly approaching -- which means we've got to ramp up our efforts NOW. I don't want to have to send you fifty emails the last two days of the month begging you for money, so I'm asking for your support today to make sure we can reach our goal in time >>

Some candidates -- like my far-right opponent Jeanne Ives -- get cheat sheets for benchmarks like this in the form of dark money support from GOP mega-donors and special interests.

Unlike her, I'm not interested in short cuts at the expense of our community and our values -- but luckily for me, I've got a "study group" of supporters like you to help me out.

Every dollar counts. Will you chip in to my end-of-quarter fundraising goal so that when our numbers go public, they send a strong message that we have what it takes to defend this battleground seat?

Thanks,

Sean
