This move confirms what I’ve been seeing and hearing on the ground: Texans are ready to put an end to Abbott’s reign once and for all. I believe we will win if we can spread our message in these final 32 days until Election Day. But that all depends on what we can raise in pivotal moments like right now.

Both public and private polling shows a tightening race, including GOP surveys that have shown the contest closing despite Abbott outspending Hinojosa by more than six to one on the airwaves.
