The moment we have been working toward since the beginning of this reign of terror has arrived. In-Person Early Voting has already begun in Idaho, Minnesota, South Dakota and Virginia. Ballots which must be mailed to voters by Monday, October 5th by law, have begun to drop this weekend in California — and in-person drop boxes in California will also be open starting on Monday. The time has come to Get Out The Vote!

At a time when working families are struggling to make ends meet, the President is disgracefully using hard-earned tax dollars to air ads celebrating himself at our expense — completely ignoring the harsh realities Americans are facing because of his failed policies, cruelty and corruption.

Just this week, provisions of the Big Ugly Bill that cut Medicaid and eliminated major SNAP funding took effect — decreasing food security and slashing healthcare for millions of Americans when they need it the most. The President and his cowardly Congressional sycophants gleefully celebrated this. But there is NOTHING to celebrate about millions going hungry or without the care they need simply because MAGA politicians don’t care.

The President and MAGA House Republicans have repeatedly tried in vain to pass their so-called SAVE Act nationally. California’s Prop 39 on the ballot is MAGA’s voter suppression initiative at the state level — so WE say NO on Prop 39! California voters will reject this Trump power grab that attempts to make it harder for everyone to vote. But this attack — especially on women voters — will backfire on them. Not only will Prop 39 FAIL — we will also elect more women up and down the ballot!

The American people are ready to VOTE OUT Republican incumbents who slashed $1 trillion from Medicaid, half a trillion dollars from Medicare and $250 billion out of the mouths of hungry children. Democrats will bring oversight and accountability to this reckless, destructive, corrupt Administration. We are ready for change in this country, and change will begin with electing a Democratic House majority — with Hakeem Jeffries as the next Speaker of the House.

We know that this awful Administration will do everything they can to stay in power, so we must all take them seriously: make a plan to vote early; ask your friends and family about their voting plans; and even make plans to vote together. And after you vote, volunteer to help others vote too — knocking on doors, making phone calls, texting or giving rides to the polls. Every voter contact matters because every vote matters!
