Today, we find ourselves less than 50 days away from the 2020 general election.

Seven weeks from today, the future of our democracy as we know it will be on the ballot.

We’re now entering the final stretch in our movement to remove this dangerous president from office, flip the Senate and hold our House majority. Everything we’ve done since November 8, 2016 has led to this moment.

And tomorrow, we face our mid-month fundraising deadline, a benchmark to help this campaign determine if we’re on track to hit our final end-of-quarter goal this September and have the resources necessary to continue fighting back against Trump and the GOP’s onslaught of attacks in these final weeks.

Amid claims by Trump that the election will be “rigged,” and that he will “negotiate” a third term and another four years in office, we can’t leave anything to chance. The margin must be huge.

Everything is on the line , John: our democracy, our right to vote, our health care, our climate, our basic human rights.
