Maybe you’ve heard the rumor going around: Some Republicans are saying this year is their best shot to flip Illinois’ Third Congressional District.

Without a Lipinski on the ballot this year, these Republicans see an opportunity -- and they’re giving it their all to try to pull off an upset.

This election is a test -- whether Democrats can fight them off and hold on to this seat depends on the work we all do in the final weeks of this race.

So I need to ask: Will you chip in to support my campaign today and make sure IL-03 is represented by a progressive Democrat?

My opponent in this race is a disciple of Donald Trump. He’s spent the summer stoking the same “law and order” flames that the White House is using to try to divide Americans. They want us to be scared of one another, because they think they’re stronger when we’re divided.

Look, these are the same people who want you to believe that Joe Biden is a left-wing extremist. They don’t let facts get in the way of their campaign strategy.

You better believe that they’re doing their best to scare voters about me, too. That’s why I need your help to get our message out, fight back against the smears that are coming our way, and win this election.
