Argentina’s president posts more than 35 anti-media hate messages on X per day
Javier Milei has cemented his status as a press freedom predator. We analysed his X account over a six-and-a-half-week period and found the Argentine president published an average of over 35 posts attacking the press per day. From the incendiary slogan “We don’t hate journalists enough” to describing reporters as “disgusting scum,” we counted a total of 1,674 anti-press posts published in 47 days. He notably argues that journalists who criticise him are corrupt, claiming they earn more money by attacking him.
