John,
Amazon services elections in more than 40 states, and it's not keeping election data secure.
Tell Amazon: stop endangering the security of our elections.
It’s been reported that voter data stored on Amazon has been compromised on three separate occasions including a database with nearly every registered American that was exposed to the internet for 12 days. 1
Amazon’s response? They blamed the state and county employees working at government offices.
We can’t let Amazon do nothing. The stakes are high in this election. As a nation, we can’t afford for known security gaps to be ignored. Amazon’s failure to address past breaches makes our elections vulnerable and puts our democracy at risk.
Tell Amazon to take any and every action necessary to secure our elections.
TAKE ACTION
One of the greatest protections of our election systems has been decentralization. Amazon centralizing nearly every registered voters’ data in one location weakens our system and makes us more susceptible to country-wide election breaches and hacks.
We can’t trust Amazon to do what’s right on their own. We have to mobilize and pressure them into providing the necessary infrastructure and tech support to ensure our elections are secure.
Take action now to protect our democracy and secure our elections!
In Solidarity,
Ayele, Fight for the Future
