Candidates are stepping up to the plate -- and I'm proud to see it. I hope you are, too.

I've been speaking with many of the candidates since I stepped away from the presidential race. Now, I'm proud to see folks like Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, and Julian Castro take such bold strides in their climate plans to address this undeniable climate crisis. I'm especially excited to see Senator Warren embrace our aggressive targets to reach 100% clean energy in electricity, cars, and buildings -- in addition to ending coal power and making a commitment to investing in good union jobs and a just transition for front-line communities.

I meant it when I said I'd continue fighting to keep climate on the main stage. This is proof of that -- I'm looking forward to tonight's CNN Climate Town Hall to hear even more from the candidates about their plans to continue our climate movement.

I need your help to keep it going. Tonight's a big night, but we need climate in every debate, every town hall, every moment we can in this election: Will you donate $5 or more to support keeping climate at the top of the conversation in 2020?

Together, you and I built a movement to put climate change front and center. And you know what? That's exactly what we did. But our work is far from over. It's our job to keep every candidate, and our Democratic Party, accountable for the long haul. Climate action must stay a central focus of what we do -- beyond one night.

I'm proud of the impact of our campaign -- and I hope this is proof the work we did together is making such a difference. I'm excited for the work ahead.
