Folks, President Trump visited California yesterday for a briefing on the raging wildfires tearing through our state.

I confronted the President about what’s happening here -- that climate change has exacerbated these fires to a point worse than they’ve ever been. That the hots are getting hotter, the dries are getting drier, and climate change is real.

Still, the President insisted yesterday, “it’ll start getting cooler,” and said, “I don’t think science knows, actually.”

The fact is, science DOES KNOW. We’re living through the evidence. Climate change is real, and what’s happening in California is a preview of what’s to come for the rest of the nation unless we take immediate action.
