I think it was clear to everyone watching that Sara Gideon WON the first debate.

Senator Collins struggled to defend her record of gutting health care and she STILL refuses to tell Mainers if she is supporting President Trump's reelection.

Meanwhile Sara gave direct and honest answers about the issues that matter most to Maine families. Over the last few days we’ve gotten a lot of responses from voters who were very impressed with her performance. It was a great night for our campaign overall.

But that success is a double-edged sword, because it means Republicans will spend even more money to try and stop our momentum. We’re expecting a wave of attack ads coming our way.

So here comes the part where I ask:

Will you make a contribution to help us keep pace with outrageous Republican spending in Maine? We’ve only got a few more weeks until election day so this request is especially important right now.

We can’t let McConnell and his army of ultra-wealthy donors stop our momentum with their money. Control of the Senate is at stake and Maine is a must-win state for Democrats.

So thank you in advance for whatever you can afford to give. Sara and I are both counting on you.
