Hi John,
A refreshed analysis of Labour’s spending promises shows the average Kiwi household would be on the hook for $2,263 in additional tax per year.
This is the cost of Labour’s hidden bill, which has now hit $18.8 billion; money that ultimately has to come from New Zealand taxpayers.
We need to warn Kiwis about what’s coming their way.

Chris Hipkins has refused to tell Kiwis how he’ll pay for his $18.8 billion worth of promises because he doesn’t want you to know how much additional tax you’ll have to pay.
However, he has ruled out borrowing more, which confirms Labour’s spend-up will land directly on taxpayers.
Conveniently for Chris Hipkins, between Labour and its prospective coalition partners in the Greens, Te Pāti Māori and Opportunity there are nine new taxes they want to impose on New Zealanders, which he’ll be able to use to pay for his hidden bill.
John, Labour does not have a credible economic plan. It has an irresponsible, unaffordable shopping list which will be paid for by hitting every New Zealand family with $2,263 a year.
Can you chip in today so we can warn Kiwis?

The choice this election is clear. It’s either National with a plan to keep growing the economy, spending sensibly and paying down debt, with no new taxes. Or a Labour coalition that would squander surpluses, leave New Zealand exposed with more debt, and Kiwis paying nine new taxes.
But, the election will be close. The only way to ensure National can continue to fix the basics and build the future is to Party Vote National.
