John,
In just seven weeks, we are facing the most consequential election in generations. And in many states, early voting is already underway.
In order to reach underrepresented voters in critical battleground states, CHN is partnering with our friends at Vote Forward. We need to reach people throughout the U.S.—in personal and effective ways—to encourage them to vote for human needs.
Click here to sign-up for Vote Forward’s letter writing campaign. You can download a packet of materials that will allow you to write directly to voters in battleground states.
Vote Forward will provide you with people to write to, the suggested format for letters, and a space for your personal comment about why voting is so important (but not to tell them who to vote for). You supply the paper, envelope, and stamps.
Many people, particularly those that do not live in a swing state, are wondering what they can do to help in this essential election. This letter-writing campaign is aimed at underrepresented registered voters in battleground states who may need a little encouragement to vote. By getting voters to the polls in these battleground states, we can help ensure the electorate truly reflects the priorities of communities in need across our country.
We can't do this without you, John. In order to fight for struggling people and families, we need you and thousands of others to sign up for this important action and make our voices heard at the ballot box this November.

Elections are the most direct way for people to prioritize the issues that our country faces. And for a democracy to work, people need to vote.
The Coalition on Human Needs is working to make sure everyone who is eligible to vote has a plan to vote. Thank you for all you do to demand accountability from our political leaders and to elect a government that truly reflects the needs of the people.
