Dear John,

Latinos continue to face daily challenges, and those burdens have only
intensified with COVID-19. Many Latinos are deemed essential workers, and they
have no choice but to work to keep their jobs and feed their families.

We must acknowledge the role that Latinos have in the U.S. workforce and its
economy. Now, more than ever, our community is fighting every day to keep all of
our families safe and nourished.

We’re sharing the stories of our community for Hispanic Heritage Month in the
U.S. and Puerto Rico, to honor their strengths and contributions.

LULAC and its nationwide network of councils will continue to launch programs and
services wherever possible in response to the current health crisis.

We're asking you to directly support our communities in need by contributing to
these programs and services. Your donation will be doubled - up to a total of
$20,000 - thanks to a generous match from Walmart.
