Instead of being proactive, Trump kept COVID-19 under wraps, despite being aware of its deadly nature since January 28th. He failed to take action early when he could have promoted social distancing; he even downplayed the virus in public while secretly understanding its highly contagious nature.

Trump went as far as to say that children were “almost immune” to the virus, among other vast overstatements, all while over 200,000 Americans died.
