Just a few moments ago, I shared my plan to address the existential threat
of climate change with millions of Americans on CNN. I hope I made you
proud tonight because our future is quite literally on the line.

We need a president who will take on powerful interests to build a clean
economy that creates millions of jobs, and guarantee every person’s right
to breathe clean air and drink clean water.

We need a president who will hold the fossil fuel industry and chemical
companies accountable for their role in destroying our environment and
harming the health and wellbeing of current and future generations.

I believe I am that leader, but I cannot do it alone -- we have to win
this primary first and defeat Trump, which is why I’m reaching out:

I know that if we stand together, we can remove
Trump from office and finally address climate change.
