HUGE NEWS! Egale is thrilled to announce our documentary film Sex, Sin & 69 is an Official Selection for the 2020 Inside Out LGBT Film Festival! Sex, Sin & 69 is an 80-minute historical and retrospective film about the 1969 legislation to partially ‘decriminalize’ homosexuality. 50 years after this momentous action, diverse voices from Canada’s contemporary queer community reflect on this contested history for what it can teach us about shaping our movements into the future.

Taking place this October 1 to 11, Inside Out exists to challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion, production, and exhibition of film made by and about LGBTQI2S people of all ages, races, and abilities. This year on their 30th anniversary, Inside Out has a special digital festival planned as we remember events that help shape our queer community.

Sex, Sin & 69 was produced and directed in partnership with Sand Bay Entertainment, with support from the Government of Canada, Canadian Heritage.

Can't make it to Inside Out? Catch Sex, Sin & 69 in the festival circuit this Autumn, including more dates to be announced soon:

Lunenburg Doc Fest - September 24-30, 2020

Rainbow Visions - November 5-8, 2020

Visit our website for more information on the film, or visit here for more information on the Inside Out schedule and lineup.
