If we're going to solve the climate crisis, we'll need a grassroots movement to win in 2020 and make big, structural change in 2021.
Warren for President

Elizabeth knows that ending the climate crisis will take bold action. That's why the threat of climate change is covered across her policy plans — including her new ten-year, 100% clean energy plan for America.

But none of these plans will be possible if we don't fight for them. If we're going to solve the climate crisis, we'll need a grassroots movement to win in 2020 and make big, structural change in 2021.

Take a look below to see how Elizabeth has woven climate policy throughout her other plans, then make a gift of $3 to power this campaign and show your support before CNN's climate town hall tonight.

Boosting green manufacturing
Elizabeth's green manufacturing plan would invest $2 trillion over the next ten years in green research, manufacturing, and exporting — creating more than a million good jobs at home and helping achieve the ambitious targets of the Green New Deal.

Fighting corruption in Washington
To reduce the influence of Big Oil on our government, Elizabeth has proposed the biggest anti-corruption reform package since Watergate — ending lobbying as we know it. She also supports eliminating fossil fuel subsidies and using that money to invest in clean and renewable energy and infrastructure instead.

Protecting public lands
On her first day as president, Elizabeth will sign an executive order that says no more drilling — a total moratorium on all new fossil fuel leases for drilling offshore and on public lands. She will fight to restore and expand protections to national monuments targeted by the Trump administration, and she'll fully fund our public land management agencies.

Supporting family farmers and sustainable agriculture
Elizabeth's new farm economy plan will radically expand a tried-and-true program — the Conservation Stewardship Program — that funds farmers transitioning to sustainable practices, so that every farmer who wants to use their land to fight climate change can do so.

Investing in green infrastructure
Elizabeth knows we should reject new fossil fuel infrastructure and projects that will emit greenhouse gases for decades to come. As president, she'll subject new infrastructure projects to a climate test, and she'll revoke permits for pipelines like Keystone XL.

Setting and living up to bold international standards to reduce carbon emissions
Elizabeth will return the United States to the Paris Climate Accord. Her Green Marshall Plan will provide American-made clean energy technology to countries that need it most and will commit $100 billion over ten years to offer discounts to countries hardest hit by the climate crisis, or as an incentive for regulatory changes that further reduce emissions.

Leveraging trade to raise environmental standards around the world
Under Elizabeth's trade plan, countries will be required to join the Paris Climate Agreement and eliminate domestic fuel subsidies as a precondition for entering trade negotiations with the United States, and she'll impose a border carbon adjustment on carbon-intensive goods.

Addressing how climate change disproportionately affects Native people
Elizabeth's full plan to honor and empower Tribal Nations and indigenous peoples will involve ending the practice of placing the interests of companies that want to exploit our environment ahead of the interests of Native people who want to preserve sacred sites.

Fighting for clean air and water and protecting vulnerable communities
Elizabeth will restore the Obama-era environmental protections that safeguard the air we breathe and the water we drink. Her new clean energy plan will address environmental injustice and strengthen legal protections for communities that have been disproportionately threatened by accelerating climate change.

The climate crisis is a massive threat to all of us. We can solve it — but it's going to take a massive grassroots movement. And it's going to take a president who is committed to big, structural change. Elizabeth is in this fight all the way.

But she can't do it alone. If you're in this fight too, chip in $3 now to support Elizabeth's plans to end the climate crisis and save our planet.
