Membership Alert: Undercover Operations Symposium
Dear Members,
"I'm not becoming like them; I am them." - from the film "Donnie Brasco"

The Los Angeles Police Protective League invites you to our upcoming Undercover Operations Symposium, which takes place on Monday, August 26, 2019. Limited seating. RSVP now on LAPD.com.

At the Undercover Operations Symposium, you'll hear firsthand accounts from former undercover law enforcement agents, including retired FBI Agent Joe Pistone (the real Donnie Brasco), ATF Agent John Carr and retired San Diego Sheriff Deputy Marko Garcia and his informant. These agents will discuss and go into vivid detail about their undercover techniques and case studies related to their operations.

Free book to the first 150 to register — "My Undercover Life in the Mafia," by Joe Pistone and the inspiration for the movie "Donnie Brasco."

Tickets for the symposium are $125 per person, however, League members can receive reimbursement for this symposium through the League’s H.E.A.T. program. Proceeds from the symposium will benefit the Officer Needs Help Fund.

For more information about the symposium and to register, click here, or contact Detective Jamie McBride (805) 208-3103.
Very truly yours,
