Team,
When Air Force One landed in California today, President Trump wasn’t just touring Sacramento — he was witnessing the glaring reality of the climate crisis up close.
In fact, no matter where he travels, our nation’s climate emergency will likely be there:
The West is ablaze. The South is flooding. The Midwest was recently torn apart by super-storms. And in the East, communities are preparing for major hurricanes… again!
We appreciate all the help from our federal partners, but the Trump administration continues to deny the truth. Global average temperatures will not “start getting cooler” as the President said today.
There is only one candidate in the presidential race who has acknowledged the realities of climate change — and has a real plan to address it.
Joe Biden, if elected, has committed to send Congress a sweeping plan for a “clean-energy revolution” in his first 100 days in office. We need action like this — and we need to build grassroots support.
At this critical juncture in history, we need leaders who step up and propose solutions. Let’s keep demanding action.
