I’ll be direct: this isn’t the kind of email I typically send.

But with just one day until our last FEC end-of-quarter fundraising deadline before Election Day, I wanted to take a moment to outline why this deadline is so critical for our campaign — and what’s at stake if we don’t hit our goal tomorrow.

This isn’t just any typical fundraising deadline. FEC deadlines are public reporting deadlines — meaning all of our fundraising data from the past three months is about to be publicly available for anyone to see.

National Republicans have their eyes on OR-06. They’ve come within striking distance of flipping this seat before, and now, Donald Trump’s renewed attacks on vote-by-mail have drawn attention to districts like this one. If National Republicans succeed in their efforts to suppress mail-in ballots this November, they can run away with this seat.

That’s why this upcoming FEC deadline is so important. If we meet our quarterly goal by tomorrow night, not only will we be showing our opponent just how strong this movement to defend OR-06 is — we’ll have the resources to fight back against Republicans' attacks on mail-in voting, make sure every single voter hears our message, and scale up our Get Out The Vote operations in the final weeks of this race.

And if we miss our goal? That’s not a position we want to be in with just weeks left in this race. Not only would we be opening the door for last-minute attacks — we’d be jeopardizing our shot at helping Democrats take back the House this November.

I know there’s a lot at stake. But this grassroots coalition has helped me overcome the odds, win big, and deliver results to OR-06 time and time again — and I’m more confident than ever that we can do it again this year.

So please, before our FEC deadline tomorrow night, will you pitch in whatever you can to help my team and me meet our quarterly fundraising goal, secure our win this November, and defend OR-06?
