Hi there,

Solving the climate crisis is essential to protecting the health of Washingtonians, our state's natural resources, and our economy. But right now, our federal government is standing by while ocean acidification and pollution jeopardize the health of our environment and Puget Sound.

Here in Washington, we have stepped up when President Trump, his so-called EPA, and Congress have refused to act. Our state passed a 100 percent clean energy plan along with other efforts to reduce carbon emissions. I've sued this administration 25 times to protect Washingtonians' air, water, endangered wildlife, and public lands.

More than half of our 21 victories against the president are environmental wins. That means we have blocked many of this administration's illegal actions that would exacerbate climate change. I'm working closely alongside Gov. Jay Inslee and our state lawmakers to make Washington a leader in this effort -- but that alone isn't enough. We need Congress to take a page from our state's playbook and act now.

We need to collect 100,000 signatures to support our national call to action. Will you add your name alongside mine to demand that Congress take immediate and necessary steps to combat the climate crisis? ([link removed])

Thank you for standing up for our environment,
Bob
