As I reflect on the past 10 months, I’m so proud of all the hard work that our staff, volunteers, and supporters have put into the campaign.

Back in September, when I was first talking with a few core team members about our campaign priorities, we all shared similar thoughts.

• We all wanted to run a campaign that focused on directly talking to voters about the issues they care about, particularly folks who usually don’t hear from candidates.
• We all wanted to train up new organizers and give them the space and tools to grow.
• And we all wanted to run a campaign that represents our beliefs and values, no matter what else was happening around us.

Looking back on the past 10 months, I’m proud that we stuck to our campaign priorities.

Despite COVID disrupting our canvassing plans, we’ve made almost 1 million phone calls and knocked over 30 thousand doors. In fact, we’ve run the largest field operation of any campaign in the history of this state!

We’ve recruited and trained dozens of first-time volunteers to take on organizing and leadership roles within the campaign.

And throughout everything, we’ve stuck to our central message: that we can guarantee every person a good standard of living, if we legislate for people over corporations.

John, thank you so much for being a part of this campaign. I can’t wait to stand with you on election day and continue the fight for the future we deserve.
