I’m going to ask you to consider a contribution to Dan McCready for Congress in a moment, but first, let me tell you why it’s so important.

Dan is facing an extremely close special election in six days. This race has been rated as a toss-up by Cook Political Report, and most polling shows the race within the margin of error.

Dan McCready is a veteran, an entrepreneur, and my friend. Dan’s commitment to service began when he joined the Marine Corps in the years following 9/11. After his service, he returned to North Carolina where he started a solar energy company to expand the use of renewable energy across his state. Dan is a father of four and a fighter. He’s working to ensure the voices of those whose votes were stolen in 2018 count in this special election, and every day he represents them in Congress. Dan believes firmly in our country and will put it ahead of partisan interests. And like me, he does not take corporate PAC donations.

His opponent, on the other hand, has a history of hate that even former Republicans have said must be opposed. Dan Bishop is an investor in a social media platform favored by Neo-Nazis and has openly espoused discrimination against the LGBT community.

This race was nearly stolen in 2018. Despite election fraud, the margin was still a mere 905 votes. This is a winnable race, but Dan McCready needs our help.
