Over the past week, we've talked about who we are and some of the principles that guide the Hawaiʻi Republican Party.

Today, we want to talk about something even closer to home.

Community.

Political parties can sometimes feel distant. Candidates. Elections. The Legislature. Washington.

But a political party is ultimately made up of people.

HRP's Action Plan calls for building relationships through town halls, small-business roundtables, cultural gatherings, family activities, churches, civic meetings, festivals, and other community events.

Why?

Because understanding Hawaiʻi doesn't begin in a political office.

It begins by listening to the people who live here.

There isn't one way to participate.

Your response helps us better understand how you would like to connect with HRP.

Every island is different. Every community faces different challenges. And the people closest to those challenges often understand them better than anyone else.

Some people volunteer. Some attend meetings. Some help their neighbors. Some follow the issues. And some simply want reliable information about what's happening in their community.

All of those voices matter.
