We’re 35 days from Election Day!!

At this point in the campaign, every week matters — and I want to start using Monday mornings to give you a simple look at the week ahead: where I’ll be, where we need volunteers, and how you can help us keep building this thing.

ADDITIONALLY, we came across a little video of the incumbent spreading some misinformation to a group gathered in New London... it's a bummer but also, maybe she's feeling a little bit of pressure? Eyes on the prize but I wanted to make sure we didn't let those claims go unanswered.

We keep going forward...

☕ COME HAVE COFFEE WITH ME

One of my favorite parts of this campaign has been sitting down with people who don’t necessarily agree with me on everything.

So between now and Election Day, I’m going to be spending a lot more time in coffee shops across the district.

No speeches, loyalty tests, or entry fees. No requirement that you agree with me.

Let's get a few folks together to talk politics: asking hard questions, telling me what I'm missing, updating me on what's happening in your town, at your school, with your business or your family. Or come and just say hi!

Bring a friend — especially one who might not normally show up to something with a Democrat.

🚪 HELP US KNOCK DOORS

We’re going to keep doing this campaign the way we’ve done it from the beginning: person to person.

That means knocking doors across SD19 and actually talking with people about what matters to them.

Never canvassed before? That’s okay. We’ll train you, pair you up if you’d like, and give you everything you need.

☎️ THURSDAY NIGHT PHONE BANKS START THIS WEEK

Beginning Thursday, October 1, we’ll be phone banking every Thursday night through Election Day.

If doors aren’t your thing, this is one of the easiest ways to help from home. We’ll get you set up, give you a script, and be there to answer questions.

💵 AND YES, I NEED TO ASK FOR MONEY.

We are running against an incumbent in a district that people have been very comfortable writing off.

I’m not writing it off.

We’re putting up signs and sending mail. We’re running digital ads, commercials, and audio ads. We’re traveling all over this district. And most importantly, we’re building the field operation to reach people directly.

All of that costs money.

So if you’ve been watching this campaign and thinking, I should probably throw Emily $25 at some point — this is the point.

Every single dollar helps.

And if you can’t donate, consider giving us two hours on doors. Taking time on Thursdays to make phone calls. Bring someone to coffee. Forward this email to three people.

There is a place for everybody in this campaign.

35 days.

That’s 35 days to reach another person who has checked out of politics or assumes nobody is listening.
