POLITICO: "A Trump administration appointee at the Department of Health and Human Services is trying to prevent Anthony Fauci, the government's top infectious disease expert, from speaking about the risks that coronavirus poses to children."

It seems a senior HHS official has taken issue with Dr. Fauci's guidance that children should wear masks and is demanding the top doctor change his tune to suit the Trump administration's political aims. The Trump administration will do anything to make it seem like we're further along in our recovery than we really are -- including lying about the pandemic from the very beginning even though it puts our nation's children at risk.

What's more, leading scientists are now worried that Trump's push to approve a vaccine before Election Day may be incredibly dangerous for all Americans -- potentially all the more so if human trials continue to deviate from Dr. Fauci's advice.

With Dr. Fauci just trying to do his job and save lives -- and Trump and his allies not caring who they hurt as long as they can keep their power -- we're proudly standing up for science and calling for all engaged Democrats to do the same.
