The Alliance for Housing Solutions invites you to a two-part virtual community conversation about race and housing.
In the first session participants will learn about the role of redlining, discrimination, racial covenants, zoning, and other forces that had an impact on Arlington’s current racial makeup.
We'll gather again a month later to discuss anti-racist housing policies and how Arlington can end institutional racism in our housing sector.
These events are free and open to the public. Please note that each event requires separate registration.
I hope you'll join us as we explore our history and work together to make the future welcoming and equitable to people of all walks of life.
Warm regards,
Michelle Winters
Executive Director
History of Race & Housing in Arlington Tuesday, September 29 from 7-8:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. We hope you will consider becoming a sponsor or giving a gift of any amount to support our ongoing work to increase the supply of affordable housing in our community.
