Virtual Mission Team Training
The five jurisdictional UMVIM Directors have developed a program called Virtual Missions. It is a way to help team members who were responding God's call to serve while at the same time helping our mission partners around the world that were relying on our presence at their sites. A Virtual Mission Leader Training will be given on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Zoom. The training will look at the importance of continuing missional outreach, the recommended steps for engaging mission sites in planning and executing a Virtual Mission, the role of the Virtual Team Leader and team members, and some examples from past Virtual Missions that went to Methodist mission sites in Mexico, Tanzania, and Honduras. Register in advance for this meeting at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYlf-muqz0oHtWpqDmecEih1D_8trRKpZWg. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
