John,

After hitting six more counties last week, I finally got to sleep in my own bed last night. Don't get me wrong, I love sleeping in Sioux City Sue in RV parks across the district, but nothing beats the feeling of your own bed.

I'm back in Sioux City for the next couple of days while we’re planning the next leg of the tour, so I figured I'd give you all an update.

Things are going great. We've officially passed the halfway mark of the Every Town Tour, going to all 374 towns in Iowa's 4th district (while visiting Pioneer, Iowa, we found out that it became unincorporated last year so the 375 town tour has turned into the 374 town tour!)

I've really enjoyed our parking lot rallies like the ones we held this past week in Mason City and Fort Dodge. Our campaign is all about getting out to the people and bringing new people into this campaign so I'm very glad that we can continue to run this campaign our way while keeping people safe and healthy.

In each town, we do something different. Maybe it's delivering a yard sign, stopping into a local grain elevator, touring a local business, or buying lunch from a local community grocery store. But every stop is important because I get the opportunity to listen and learn from the people I'm asking to serve.

This campaign isn't about me and it isn't about my opponent -- it's about who will fight to make sure rural Iowa isn't left behind. Thanks to all of you, I'm in this fight armed with the voices of our district and I'll be able to get to work on Day 1 in Congress.

While we're over halfway on the Every Town Tour, we're under halfway to our mid-month fundraising goal. If you're in a spot to help by chipping in $5, we'll put it right in the gas tank or towards some more PPE for the trip.
