| But the National Weather Service said the broader system would continue producing strong wind gusts, coastal flooding, rip currents and heavy rain across parts of the Northeast through Monday evening as it moves toward the Gulf of Maine. |
| INFRASTRUCTURE TEST The storm is hitting one of the country's most densely populated and infrastructure-heavy regions. Flooded roads, disrupted power service, coastal erosion and transportation delays can create economic effects well beyond the immediate shoreline. | |
