Unapologetically Progressive in Michigan
Tuesday, September 15th at 8 p.m. ET
Michigan has become ground zero for millions in political spending this cycle. How do we make sure Democrats win? By investing in down-ballot races that will drive turnout for the entire ticket.
On tomorrow's Unapologetically Progressive deep dive, we'll hear from state House Rep. Mari Manoogian and candidates Ranjeev Puri and Chokwe Pitchford on their critical races and how YOU can help them win.
Sign up below to reserve your (free!) spot and hear from young progressives working to make it all possible.
This event is free!
Armchair Chat: Video Storytelling
Wednesday, September 16th at 6:00 p.m. ET
Over the years, we've seen truly extraordinary political videos.
AOC's "The courage to change." Jason Kander assembling a rifle blindfolded. Kelda Roys breastfeeding her baby. Ed Markey's "Green New Dealmaker."
(We’ve also seen some really bad ones!)
What makes a video message compelling and effective?
Our guests this week,
Taylor Behnke, a Storyteller and content creator, and
Allan Piper, Senior Politics Producer at NowThis, will have the answer to this question and more!
Want to learn how to craft compelling and effective video content for your campaign? We've got you covered -- RSVP now to join this week's Armchair chat with Taylor and Allan. And as always, it's free!

Run for Something 🤝🏼 National Democratic Training Committee 🤝🏼 Senator Cory Booker
Thursday, September 17th at 8:00 p.m. ET
According to Vox, Democrats lost 12 governorships and 958 seats in state legislatures between 2009 and 2017. And we know the results: 479 abortion restrictions, Republicans' extreme gerrymandering to lock Democrats out of power, and attacks on voting rights including voter ID (just to name a few).
But that's all changing. Run for Something, the National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC), grassroots activists, and party leaders all stepped up to change our game
so we can win sustainable, permanent power.
We're teaming up with the NDTC and Senator Cory Booker this Thursday for a conversation about recruiting, training, supporting, and electing young, diverse progressives in 2020 and beyond.
But there's one partner we're missing -- that's you, John.
Want to empower our critical work and learn more about what we're doing to build sustainable power for progressives and Democrats? Get a ticket to this Thursday's virtual chat with NDTC founder Kelly Dietrich, Senator Cory Booker, and myself for just $25.
Hell of a week here, am I right? We're SO excited to share all of this with you, hope you can make any or all of our events!
Thanks,
Amanda Litman
