Back in July, I wrote to you about my friend, Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-08), who’s running in one of the most competitive re-election races in the entire country. When I last reached out, Donald Trump Jr. was raising big bucks for Matt’s opponent to try and gain a seat that the Washington Post has called a “must-win” for Republicans if they’re going to have any chance of taking back the House.

But the momentum is on Matt’s side -- he’s just earned an endorsement from Blue America, and this summer, The Cook Political Report shifted Pennsylvania’s 8th district from “Toss Up” to “Lean Democratic.” Donald Trump may have won this district by 10 points in 2016, but I know that we can get Matt across the finish line and help re-elect one of Congress’ most dedicated fighters for working families.
