Friend --

People keep telling me how excited they are to see me return as Senator Kamala Harris on Saturday Night Live, but what I'm really looking forward to is a change for the better.

I'm ready for my next role: Vice President Kamala Harris. But first, we have to make sure Joe and Kamala get elected.

So tonight, I'm joining Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and my friend Amy Poehler for a special grassroots event to power Democrats to victory now that folks across the country are beginning to cast their ballots.

Do you want to join us? All you have to do is chip in any amount to this email and we'll send you a link to join Kamala, Hillary, Amy, and me at 6 pm eastern >>

I think we can all agree it's time to retire Donald Trump and the characters with him in the White House for good.

This election is just too important for any of us to sit on the sidelines.

Trump is the most corrupt president we've ever had, and it's no surprise that he's not going to go down without a fight.

If we don't do our part to help Joe and Kamala win, we'll end up with four more years of chaos, divisiveness, and corruption - a scenario I refuse to let happen.

I'm doing my part by joining tonight's grassroots fundraiser. Because what we raise at this event will turn into more voters that Democrats are able to turn out in this election, and that's the only way we're going to defeat Donald Trump.

What are you waiting for? Don't miss out on your chance to join us LIVE from your home tonight. Chip in below and use the link we send to log on at 6 pm eastern >>
